Our World Championship-qualified athlete performed at Sziget Festival

Another MRLSZ athlete has had the opportunity to take part in a truly special experience:

Zita Turcsák-Szigeti, winner of the Senior 18+ Women category at the 2026 IPSF Hungary Qualification Championships, had the opportunity to perform a special illusion act at The Joker venue on the final day of the Sziget Festival.

The performance was particularly special because the world of the stage is no stranger to Zita: her circus background made its way back into the performance, bringing together illusion and the performing arts.

The official Sziget Festival programme includes magic and circus performances at The Joker, making this a particularly exciting opportunity for a Hungarian pole sport athlete to showcase her versatility at such a prestigious international festival.

The performance is especially noteworthy given that our athlete has also secured qualification for the IPSF World Championships, continuing her journey towards the highest international level of competitive sport.

"I would like to thank Balázs Kiss V. for this opportunity and for this special experience!" – Zita said following the performance.

Zita's appearance on the Sziget stage is a great example of how the technical skills, strength, flexibility and stage presence developed through pole sport can also be showcased in a wide range of unique performances beyond competitive sport.
